After booking your appointment with Andrés, please follow this recommendations:

 

• Use sunblock for the last two weeks before each appointment.

• Drink a lot of water the days prior to the session.

• If you are coming from out of town and you are planning your hotel/flights, please dont book the flight the morning after the session, sometimes sessions go until late at night and you dont wanna be at the airport at 6am after getting tattooed.

The day of the session:

 

• Don't make any plans for that day, since every sessions are different, sometimes it takes longer than planned and we don't wanna rush art right?

• Please eat a good breakfast

• Wear something comfortable, almost like you do when you are about to take a long trip.

• Bring water, snacks, and if you are a pro, bring a blanket, a pillow, some headphones and a playlist with your favorite tunes.

• You can listening to music all you want, Andrés is not the best at multitasking, and even tho he's friendly and open for conversations, sometimes he needs to focus, so being quiet is not rude, he likes it :D

• After arriving to the studio, make sure you fill out the release form, you can find this in this app on the check-in section under 'booking", or theres's a link on your confirmation email.

• If this is your first session, you'll get to see the design first thing, remember that you agreed to give artistic freedom with Andrés when booking, so the least changes or last minute requests are usually void: sometimes changes are possible, but those add extra time to the designing and it would take longer to start.

• After everybody is happy with the design, there would be a wait of 30mins-45mins for the stencil to be made. You chill in the waiting room, or go outside for a moment. You'll be able to go into the tattooing area after Andrés come and get you.

• There's bathroom brakes at any time, dont hezitate on asking for a quick peepee brake.

• Andrés take longer brakes every 2 hours, tattooing is very exhausting and sometimes a good stretch or snack is needed.

• When you are done, there would be a few minutes of recovery, letting the skin bleed and clam down a little before wipng it for last time.

• A photo would be taken of your tattoo, sometimes a lot of photos/videos are taken, if you feel dizy, please let Andrés know and he'll assist you.

• After photos are taken, you'll get the skin around the tattooed area wiped with alcohoil to remove any oils before the second skin is applied.
