At 34 years old I was living my life to the fullest until I brushed a crumb off my chest and felt a lump. I was quickly diagnosed with Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and it was spreading throughout my chest fast. I knew due to the severity of my diagnosis and my young age that I wanted to take the most aggressive approach to my treatment including a 9 hour surgery after 6 months of chemotherapy. In 2018, I underwent a bilateral mastectomy with DIEP Flap reconstruction, non nipple sparing. After the surgery I had to pick up the pieces of my life and try to make the best of the healing process. I was thankful to be alive for my family and friends, but everyday when I looked in the mirror I was reminded of the journey/battle I underwent. I was left with scars all over, had new breasts, but no nipples.
Over the years I have visited Andres for tattoos and I knew he would pull off nipple tattoos for me due to his talent and eye for perfection. I knew the look I wanted could be achieved by Andres, so I reached out to him and we made it happen.
I sent example pictures of colors and shapes that I liked. Andres listened to my wants when it came to the tattoo and of course, he nailed it. I can now look at myself in the mirror and feel whole again, all thanks to Andres’ knowledge, professionalism, unrivaled talent and kindness to help women who have undergone drastic bodily changing surgeries due to cancer.

When I initially reached out to Andres for scheduling i didn't expect to hear back from him so soon. He promptly replied and got me scheduled asap. I drove 6 hours to meet with him in his studio. Not only was he courteous of my time, the experience was awesome. The studio is extremely clean with so much character. His professionalism is unmatched. He made me feel comfortable and kept reassuring me. I fell asleep during the procedure which says a lot cause my anxiety normally has me a nervous wreck. My right breast which is where my cancer originated, went thru 33 rounds of radiation which makes it significantly darker than the left breast. He worked diligently to try to get the color to match, even offering a retouch after the color sets to try to get the color as perfect as possible.
